The local movie theater has had a long history of purported sightings of spirits. It was once a former jail, so it's not surprising that this is the case. Either way, I didn't believe any of these stories other than to be local folklore. That is until I saw something I cannot explain.
In 2010 I visited the theater to see a new movie that had come out. The film in question was playing in room one at the very front of the theater near the concession stand.

I was seated very near to the front of the theater with two or three rows of empty seats in front of me. As the crowd filled the theater, no one sat in

front of me. As the theater lights dimmed and the opening credits rolled, I saw a little girl run across the row of seats in front of me. Yet none of the other people reacted to seeing this child or came to retrieve her. I left the theater having become concerned for a potentially lost child. I asked the person working the concession stand had anyone reported missing a child. They told me that no one had, and I immediately became confused. What had
