He smiled at me and disappeared. I really want to hear from others who have lived in this house. I don't know if there is a history of children dying there or not. To chicken to find out. And I know I am not nuts and don't know if I want the proof to say I am or am not.
Records indicate it was built around 1896. I have also discovered old newspapers in my attic from when Hoover was president. That's to coolest thing thus far.

I lived in an old house on the corner of Upper Welden and South Main. I had a bedroom in the front of the house part of the older construction. The kitchen in the back was added on later with upstairs.
In that bedroom there was a tiny square closet even I would be uncomfortable standing in. My mom kept telling me that I had left my light on and I would have to argue that I had actually turned it off.
She also would tell me that on multiple occasions she had gone into my room while I was sleeping because she heard a loud shaking noise. Only to discover that my closet door was shaking back and forth without any cause.
