I'm not sure if this was a ghost or some other kind of entity but this story has been with me for about 3-4 years. I was living in South Burlington just behind where the old hooters was near the Burlington airport. I lived in a condo complex with a swamp directly off of my back deck no more than 15 feet away. have a cigarette There is no lights out on the back side of my old apartment. I lit up my cigarette and felt like I was being watched and to my surprise

I was. There was this figure about 20 feet away from me and I could only make out it's figure as I could see it's silhouette with the moon behind it. Whatever it was just stood there and stared at me standing on two feet about 4 feet tall with long dangly arms hanging down to it's sides.
It seemed like we were staring at each other for eternity but only a minute went by. It then cocked it's head back and made this bloodcurdling screech at the top
