West Swanton, Lakewood Drive. I grew up along Lake Champlain (Hog Island. ) For years in this old house I lived in as a child to mid adulthood I had experienced strange things. First experience I could remember was sleep walking upstairs and almost plummeting to my death from the hallway. This area was wide open and only had ropes as guardrails at the time. I did fall. I also almost hit the wood stove on the way down. I didn't feel any pain as if I had the feeling

of floating or being carried partly on the way down. I remember I yelled out to my mother, and when she came out I fell back to sleep. I also at times
|
saw disembodied figures like shadows move about the upstairs which led to the second sighting.
On the top of the stairway going down I saw this shadow figure. I had no defining shape although it looked cloaked in a way. It stood there for a moment then proceeded downstairs. This thing moved slowly and somewhat floated in air. Made no noise as it moved. If it was a human, the plywood floor would creak. No matter how carefully you walked.
