history of the place. Near there was a burial ground for early settlers that some Canadians built a few summer homes over. Several other places along Lakewood were burial grounds as well because of smallpox and various other diseases. My childhood home was basically caught within the nexus of it all. I spoke with a woman who lived in this house. She reported cabin doors all being open when she woke in the morning, and the water in the bathroom turning on after she shut it off. There was one night that six people were in the house, and all of them heard a girl's voice warning them that ''they'' were coming for her child. The couple had twins. One of the children died of SIDS in the house. Their second child was sick. They rushed the hospital. As they drove away from the house, the child recovered. They never returned.

My house in Swanton is haunted for sure, my son kept hearing a woman calling his name. He thought it was me but it wasn't. Our dog was scared of the house when we first moved in. Very weird little things would happen you could not explain. Then I found out a woman died in my bedroom, I since have had the house blessed. Submitted by Anomonus
Comment by Anonomoyus: Same house again, it's happening. Closet doors opening on their own and lights coming on. Pictures moving, my son sees a big ball of light, then I see a man in my room. The same night my son went downstairs to get a drink and saw a man and took off running upstairs, thinking about setting up cameras but not sure if I am ready to see what's on them.
