I went from Air Force active duty to Air Force Reserve in 1986. I was in the reserves from 1986 to 1989. Sometime in that three-year span I spent my two-week summer camp at Dover Delaware AFB. I was a young Buck Sergeant at the time. I was staying in what I believed was billeting. It was a long indoor hallway with doors (rooms) on both sides. I was bunking with another Buck Sergeant from my unit. It was about 22:00, and I was beat, so I decided to turn in.

roommate was still out. It was an older building with wood floors, and you could see light under your door from the hallway. I went to bed in the bunk

right next to the door. My roommate would have to walk by my bed to get to his bed at the far wall. You could hear people walking up and down the hallway with their military boots on. I thought nothing of it, so I rolled over on my side to keep the light from the hallway from keeping me awake.
As I lay there trying to fall asleep, I heard boots walking down the hallway. They stopped at my door, and then I heard keys rattling as a key was being
