In an attic top floor of a single family home on Market St. nearby Beebe Hospital Lewes, DE I house sat for a friend one night. At 5:30 am I awoke to unexplained sounds like a child or children playing in the room and thought there were intruders.
Instead I felt light touch over my fingers like someone was trying to wake me up, and opened my eyes to a transparent figure at the corner of the bedroom beside the wooden dresser. The figure was the size of

a 7 year old boy who seemed to be trying to point to the top of the dresser.
Then a light sound of knock on a wooden structure came and the figure

faded. They didn't seem angry but a playful ghost. It seemed there were more but I didn't want to look further before turning on the light.
Later that morning I noticed on top of the dresser was a CD/DVD player/radio. On a lighter note I wonder if the ghost wanted to hear some music. From this I realized a number of things; one of which is that I am a light sleeper and Lewes must have spirits around especially because of it being the oldest town
