I am a former employee of cadbury at Lewes in Lewes De a retirement complex. For 2 years I worked as a charge nurse on the skilled unit. While there several staff members (myself included) saw and / or heard things.
Once when I was leaving room 235 a black opaque figure quickly zipped past me in a well lit hall heading toward rooms 232/233 but disappeared before reaching the rooms. Another time I saw a gray transparent human-like figure walk across the hall going from the director of nursing's office and heading toward room 212 and once again the hall was well lit and I could see through the figure and actually see it's ''legs'' moving as it walked.

Often I would catch a glimpse of someone/something entering room 218 sometimes I would only be 2 rooms away when it would occur and when I would go to investigate thinking maybe a confused resident entered the wrong room no one would be there or the resident would be asleep in bed.

Two certified nursing assistants that were sitting at the end of the hall near the nurse's desk told me that they had seen a black shape cross the lit hallway going from dining room 2 toward room 218, and a licensed practical nurse and certified nursing assistant that were at the nurse's desk reported hearing a disembodied voice say ''ma am'' as if to request attention.
Several residents also reported seeing things such as children and a girl in a red coat.
