In 1982 we moved into a 14-room house in Millsboro. It was built in 1887. From what I understand it was the largest house in town. We spent 2 years remodeling this beautiful English style home. In the basement were two mounds of dirt approximately 7 feet long and 3 feet wide. These were behind a broken brick wall. Now we always heard things my stepfather always said '' it's the house breathing or settling'' until my brother started acting strange.

little sister was only a year old at this time, and he removed the gate on the second floor stairs while she was on that landing in a walker. He doesn't

recall this. I had felt the temperature drop from warm to seeing my breath in a matter of a minute. I've seen flashes and shadows move.
In 1982 I was 12 years old that house we lived in used to be a doctor's office. In the closet under the master stairwell there was a place you can push, and if you push on that wall gently, you'll hear a click, and the wall opens. It's a passage about 18'' wide in the walls. I found a 1898 silver dollar wedged
