It's happened a lot of time. He and his family checked each time even into the attic. There was nothing there that could have made that sound. The house went up on the market again shortly after. I believe my grandmother's former house on mill Street to also be haunted.
My grandmother has been dead for many years now and no one in the family now owns the house. The upstairs hallway was exceptionally creepy to me day or night. I loathed to go up there

alone because every time I did I would get this horrible feeling of being watched by unseen eyes.
It got to the point that I always pressed my

back against the wall when I came down the stairs for fear of being touched or pushed. A friend and I conducted a séance in the house once while my grandparents were away.
Neither one of us was willing to sit with our backs to the staircase. I would love to hear more stories of the hauntings that may be taking place in my hometown!!.
