I used to dorm at dow hall in Briarcliff Manor on the pace univ. Campus. I had heard many stories from upper classmen about a fire on the fourth floor in the early 1900's and how the dorm was haunted.
Although I had never seen a ghost my room was effected. When I was in the shower I would hear drawers slamming shut over and over again. If I through my shoes in the closet they would end up next to my bed when I returned to my room.

the suite would be made (pillow and blanket) when originally it had nothing on it. The TV turned itself on at the beginning of my roommates favorite episode

of will and grace (and no it was not set).
A nice ghost as she cleaned up around the dorm.

Comment by Jenn: I also lived on the campus and spent a few nights in this same dorm. We found hand prints on the ceiling that could only be seen when light was shined directly on it and couldn't be removed. In the middle of the night I was woken up to what sounded like someone riding a bike up and down the hallways ringing a bell, but when we looked the hallway was empty.
We snuck down to the basement where there was an abandoned pool and took pictures. When we looked at the pictures they were filled with white spots which some people claim are ghosts or spirits. I always believed that place was haunted and it always gave me the creeps.
