I now live in the area of Inwood (upper Manhattan, I have a view of Bronx Community College) my ghost story began when I had lived in a house on Lacome Ave in the Bronx. At night you can see a woman at the window just looking out from my room or what was my room.
See small children come from the basement. And the floor always made that sound that someone was there. Noise going up and down the stairs moving down the hall calling out your name. Who were they? No one knows .

But the one was the tree branches that always look like hands trying to get into my room from next door. The house is still there and the lady that had bought the house moved on and now a new family lives there. I wonder if they hear any thing like me and my brothers did.

My uncle was a super from 1970-1975 at a very large building which stands at Boynton Avenue between Watson Avenue and Westchester Avenue in the Bronx. There were all kinds of activity in the basement area, we would all hear sounds of people walking around and whispering in the basement outside of the apartment.
During the winter months when there was snow on the ground you could hear some one walking out side in the yard you could actually hear the snow crunching down if you listened by the window yet no one was ever there.
