Then one day in my suite alone over winter break there was a black smudge that looked like a human figure. It was not there a few hours prior. Then in my friend's room who is also living here over winter had a cup fly across his room.

Twelve years ago my ex-husband and I moved into a house on east Gibson Street in Canandaigua, NY. It was a fresh start for us and our 2-year-old daughter who is a teenager now. She doesn't remember it thankfully. Things started with just the attic door opening by itself. (no big deal.) We simply pushed the couch up against the door, and that stopped it. Within the next few weeks we would start to hear footsteps in the attic. After being there for a month or two we had a friend come to stay with us. We told him about the noises, and he decided to buy a Ouija board. After using it for a while things started to get crazy. First small things that happened were the faucet turning on, the TV changing channels, and strange voices. As the months passed, it got worse. We would start to see a little girl standing in the living room at night. Or sometimes in the hallway. We would hear screams from a little girl or deep growling noises when there were no dogs in the building.

Comment by Jessica: Any time you mess with a Ouija board you are taking a chance in opening a ''portal'' to another place or time. Often it lets ''evil'' in. Please do not do that again for your own safety.
