Between 1964 (my birth) and 1972 I lived at a home on Washington Street Extension (now Fuller Road). The house had the Fuller Glass factory on the property (now torn down). It was built in 1895 by Mr. Fuller. My grandmother Mable Johnson owned the house until about 1993, and I would visit when I was in college (and later the army) before she was forced into an assisted living center downtown.
Both the house and old factory were very haunted as was that

entire valley along Monkey Run (named as such because the water course of the stream frequently changes). In the woods and creek we would frequently see
|
different colored lights floating around. The windows of the old factory (the size of a barn) would have faces looking out occasionally. The house itself had several spirits, and it was very common to hear people walking on the stairs or in the attic.
There would also be angry shouts once in a while, and doors would slam for no apparent reason. My aunt who is 92 and lives on Spencer Hill had reported to us that on a number of occasions she was pushed
