In the 1950's in October we were on a class camping trip and a friend and I were running along the road leading down to the point in the evening as part of a scavenger hunt. We passed an elderly lady in Colonial garb carrying a large Pitcher.
We ran and passed and exchanged the surprise that we probably saw a ghost and would never tell anyone. But we did.
