I moved out into the city a couple of months later, and aside from one short visit that year, the ghost had her way, and I was out of there. I figured out that it was all well and fine when I was there most of the time to look after the old man. years, but never with so much intensity as that time when I was 23. I now live just 4.5 miles from the old house after living in other states and regions

Once seeing the present owner outside when I stopped my car to view the place, and he saw me, so I asked if the house was still haunted. He just looked at me wide-eyed, and I wasn't sure he understood, but maybe he did.
