Right at the main intersection at the gas station there used to be a pay phone. I haven't set foot in Fly Creek for well over 15 years but I'm assuming that old pay phone is long gone. It was common knowledge that that phone was haunted.
If you picked it up and just pushed any button just to make the dial tone go away and listened you could hear the voice of a man who had died on that spot back in the 1950s. The payphone is probably not there but if

you connect a phone to the old wires of it you can probably still hear it.
