Comment by Paul: Hello, David what you are experiencing with the mice sounds like something I have sometimes called sleep paralysis. It's when you are right between being awake and falling asleep. You think you are awake, but you are in a sort of trance that can cause out of body experiences. I have visual and auditory hallucinations that can be very scary to the point where you start to panic but can't move. Then you snap out of it, and everything is alright. I've had some pretty bad ones from just seeing things move around my room to seeing and hearing demonic shadow figures. Some are cloaked like the Grim Reaper. I've only had one friend that says he has similar experiences and said his worse was when he felt mice crawling on and trying to eat into his stomach.
