I was in the Sylvan Lawn cemetery in Greene, NY. I had walked around for a while and cut through grave stones to go back to my car. I felt like had my pant leg caught on a bush. When I looked there was nothing growing around the marker. I glanced at the name on the stone, and it was a friend of mine who died in forth grade. I never knew where she was buried.

I visited my great aunt who lived by Lake Petonia in Greene, NY in 2012. She had a boat by her dock that I used while visiting her. I didn't fish; I liked to just paddle out there and enjoyed the beautiful nature there.

That night I went out again, and I saw another boat with a small light on it. I liked to be alone, so I paddled another way. I saw the light again in front of me. I was puzzled. I don't know how it traveled that fast without me hearing an engine or anything.
I used my flashlight, and the boat disappeared. I shined my light around and found a white mist twirling just above the surface of the water. Then I heard sobbing. It was a quiet sobbing. I shouted out ''are you ok? '' even though I knew no one was around me.
Then the sobbing stopped. I hurried back to my aunt's house after that. I talked to her, but she insisted there was no ghost around her area, but I won't believe her. I know what I saw and heard.
