So I believe my father said his friend lives on either West Union St. or Franklin St. I'm pretty sure it's West Union. Anyway his friend and his family live in a haunted house. They only found out because his daughter was always talking to someone, and they thought she had an imaginary friend until his friend was recording them playing. When he showed the video to his wife later that night they witnessed a voice replying back to his daughter. While him and his daughter were playing she would look over and talk to her imaginary friend as they thought, but when watching the video one of the replies was heard clear as day.
There were no TVs on or anything, and it didn't help the reply had to do with what she said beforehand. Then ghost hunters visited the house, and they witnessed the closet door fly open, and the vacuum slammed to the ground. There was a hole in the wall I believe after the door slammed open. Then another time the silverware was in the drawer rattling. It was like we had earthquakes all the time, but that was definitely not an earthquake. Most earthquakes around here aren't bad enough to be noticeable.

Then finally one day my dad's friend came home from work, and all the doors had been opened and unlocked. The windows were cracked open. When they called the police they said there was no sign of an intruder. Yeah creepy! I have always hated riding my bike past that house in town.

I lived in Holley in my teens the only scary thing is the frightening lack of anything interesting to do. Well.. That and the haunted fountain in the center of town where a little girl once drowned.
