I grew up in an old two-story house off Rt 219 about three houses down from the Great Valley Bridge. As a child I remember hearing footsteps going up and down the hallway. When I opened the door they would stop, but then I would hear what sounded like a party going on downstairs. I would sneak down avoiding all the stairs that creek and place my ear against the door still hearing the noise. I would slowly open the door only to find the living room

empty. I can recall numerous times waking up trying to scream but no noise came out.
I was on the top bunk one time, and when I rolled onto my

side it felt like a pair of hands pushed me in the back and down onto the floor. I also remember a time one Sunday afternoon when we came home after participating in a benefit walk in Salamanca. We were sitting in the living room when the house began to fill with smoke. We got out of the house and summoned the fire department, the Great Valley Fire Department. I believe another agency from Cattaragus County responded. By the time the first engine arrived smoke was
