We used to live on the corner of 5th and Alder across from the cemetery. One night after putting our young daughter to sleep we were lying in bed and heard footsteps coming up the stairs. All doors were locked, so we both jumped out of bed to check. There was nothing, and our daughter was still sound asleep!.

A ghost watched me strip wall paper from a home I purchased and when I realized she was there I looked again and watched her walk up the stairs. Now she meows like a cat, runs across the floor and pushes doors open. Sets off my alarm in the middle of the night.
