heard the hallway door open and footsteps approaching her room. The steps continued past her room and down the hall yet she saw nothing pass by. When the footsteps reached the end of the hall the hallway lights switched off.
She went into a panic. The ra came and insisted that she had been in her room during the ordeal. I doubt either of them slept that night. The following year some people in the dorm began seeing a ''blue apparition'' wearing

what they described as a ''cloak'' or ''winter coat with the hood up''.
People who didn't believe in such things changed their tune after seeing her

standing by their bed in the middle of the night. I purposefully slept with a pillow over my head at night. I wasn't scared of the apparition I was afraid that I would never sleep again with proof that it was in my room with me.
Sometime that year a group of people were together playing a board game in my room. We all heard the same thing at the same time- the hallway door open at the opposite end of the hall and someone running towards my room coming
