I lived in Peekskill between 1994-1997. Then next to the old Peekskill Middle School there was an abandoned high school that burned. We called it Drum Hill. My friends and I used to go in there at least 3 times a week just scoping the place out and fooling around.
I always saw a man standing at the bottom of the main staircase. My friend S. was swinging from a very secure metal wire hanging through 2 stories, it broke dead center for absolutely

no reason. We inspected it immediately.
No tears no threads. In the building's basement my friend j. felt the presence of at least 3 spirits and none

of them necessarily friendly. This was a macabre place with a jaded history. If not the building alone the grounds it stood on.
It was called Drum Hill High School because of the haunting sounds of Civil War drums echoing in the night air.

Comment by Leonard: I attended Drum Hill during the early 1960's. It did not burn down. I has been turned into apartments for senior citizens.
