(...continued from the previous page)
Some times I thought that my old house was haunted. It was built I the early 70's, so that was a possible no. The town may be haunted of course but the unknown still remains. Submitted by Anonymous

My brother's house is an old farm house that I lived on through my child hood right on the old eerie canal. Ewhen I was younger my father would tell us stories about the canal slave, a terrifying ghost that never came out unless disturbed.

On may 9th 1977 I saw something come out of the erie. It was the canal slave. A dark skinned beach hermit, very tall and had a humped back. That is all I can remember.

Comment by Terri: Jeff what? ! What the heck! You're saying this was an apparition? Not a live person right? Just making sure I read that right. How scary! Where exactly was this? I like to investigate ghost sightings that are not as well known like this. I live in Buffalo and drive out that way to check out things like this fairly often. Do you know anyone else who has seen this? Thanks.
