This happened at a house on Riverside Avenue. When our upstairs neighbor told us the house was haunted, I laughed it off thinking the neighbor was trying to spook the new girl, yeah sure. When my husband's best friend (the neighbors boyfriend) said he saw a shadow when crashing on our couch, I just assumed he was in on the joke. Then things started happening. Our stove knob flew across the kitchen. I glued it back on, and it flew across again. I would put

bottles would rattle when there was no reason. Our infant son and friend's dog would not go in the basement or the pantry room without panicking. I still wrote it off as all in my mind. Then one night when I was napping on the couch waiting for my husband to come home, I heard our door open. No one was there. I heard footsteps, and no one was there.
