Story #1: in the late 1930's my polish grandparents lived in brick house on the 500 block of 25th Street Watervliet. It was and still is a bad place. People living there have nightmarese see things and experience ilness such as anemia.
Examples spiders on the walls seen by my uncle Rudy when about 10-12 years of age. My mother and her sisters would see a man or seen by dates - the man was dressed as they would in Edwardian period.

Rumor had it a 'father' killed suitor of a daughter. Nothing to back this up. As recently as 2000 / 2001 I talked to people living there they said they or their children experienced starnge things.

It seems a 'small' fires accompanies clusters of strange events. The fire and strange are somehow connected. I have been in front hall of this structure have no desire to enter further. No one in my family would stay alone at night in the building.
Story #2: in 'vasava'' mini Warsaw the old polish section of Watervliet again in area of 25th Street closer to behr mannings or whatever they call it today the following occurred. My great grandfather Lawrence zelasko died in 1920's.
Family his many children and their children were having an impromtu picnic about 1926 /- my mother and assorted 1st cousins saw Lawrence at the gate their grandfather the kids excited at seeing him ran in to yard to tell parents the party broke up asap Lawrence was dead obviously not resting in immaculate conception cemetery as he should have been.
