At the First United Methodist Church on Chestnut Street I had a friend who saw a ghost on a staircase in the building at night. The ghost looked like an old woman wearing 19th century clothing. She screamed at him then he closed his eyes, and when he opened them she was gone.
When I went to check this out I found nothing, but then I went back a couple months later at night I went to that staircase and saw a younger woman who looked at me, seemed

frightened and then disappeared.
