My parents' young siblings and I were in our van driving up to visit an elderly friend on Cross Patch Road during a bad winter storm. This had to be 1992 or so. We were on Eighmey Road and slid off into the roadside drainage ditch. We were unable to get enough traction to get going.
A man came over seemingly from the house across the street. It was a very old house, and the lights were off other than electric candles in the windows, but there seemed

to be activity down below on the side of the house in the backyard. The house was on a hill and right on the road with the side yard sloping down behind

it. There was activity down there like a few people were down there working and talking, and there were orbs of light as if someone was working under a carport on their engine with drop lights or something.
The man had on a flannel shirt and suspenders. He was in his mid to late 30s and asked if we needed help, and my dad said yes. My dad sent my mother and me to the house to call our friend, so he wouldn't worry that we were late. As we waited
