People... In a floating train... Bizarre! I never believed in supernatural. We believe this is the train from the Red Arrow train wreck coming back. Submitted by Mickey

Altoona has all kinds of haunting's and there are lots of ghost stories here that just keeps circulating year after year. I never believed the story about the ghost of the crying bride until I saw it for myself.

The ghost of the crying bride was near a small bridge when I saw her. Her apparition only appears for about 30 seconds before she fades away. From the time I was a small child I have heard the story about some kind of haunted mansion here but do not know where it is located.

Comment by Nick: Hey Greg. I heard that it is the Baker mansion that is haunted.

I love to go ghost hunting all over the place and I say Altoona is the best place I have ever been. Barker Mansion was my favorite place to go ghost hunting in Altoona. When I was little ghosts didn't seem to be real but since I'm older and exploring things now I believe in ghosts because I've seen some in Altoona at a football game, and I caught some on video and got some pictures.
