As a paranormal investigator I have been in the Altoona railroad Museum and that building was the headquarters for the Pennsylvania railroad for years before becoming the museum! I got a class A EVP in the caboose that sits in front of the doors saying ''lets go! '' which I later found out was what the conductor (who was responsible for the train being on time) would say when it was time to leave.
There are at least one spirit in the club car and several in the building itself! I say a shadowman in the basement and it was also seen by another investigator. Altoona is very haunted.

Hi to anyone reading this I am currently and have always been a resident of Altoona. And I am here to say yes Altoona is haunted more so then you think. I have had my share of sightings and other supernatural experiences.
Those who deny this fact of ghost in Altoona are afraid of the truth or can't see the spirits. I hunt ghost in my free time. They are not so bad. Some are actually pretty nice and will give you gifts and even help you in time of need.
