In Belle Vernon there is a hobby shop in an old yellow brick building. I've been there many times, but last year I saw an old Civil War bill lift off the tray about 5 inches and just hang there till it finally fell and landed all crooked. I'm pretty sure it's haunted.

A few years ago I was nearly hit by a car in that patch of dirt in front of the house right near the bridge. A car was speeding around the bend and slid off the road. Just before that a strange flash of light like lightning appeared for some reason it caused me to panic. When I heard the car coming I just knew and ran.

I also felt I should have been hit; I didn't run fast enough. The next day I saw the tracks in the dirt I still don't know how I wasn't hit. Maybe this has something to do with it. Maybe she gave me enough fear in advance to run fast enough.

I never saw anything but I would have been in the area around 1:30 am to 2:00 am.

I live in North Belle Vernon, right near the new fire hall. My house is over 300 years old and just about every other night I can hear footsteps and what sounds like a woman whistling. Also stuff has been thrown and moved around in our home without anyone touching it.
At first it really scared me, especially when I was younger, but now I'm just used to all the things that go bump in the night.
