Or better yet go to Yankee Hill where the battle was fought. It is by Muddy Run toward 217 side, Platts did own it, don't know now. But it will make your hair stand up. Submitted by Elliott

I lived there and would always go to the park by Boones garage. If you walked around the fence and into the woods you would see old headstones. Some were a hundred years old. The cemetery was turned into a park I believe, the headstones were just pushed aside I never saw anything but wouldn't stay until dark.

Creepy 'being watched' feeling. I lived on Walnut Street up from the high school in a Victorian style duplex. Submitted by Jenny

Comment by Jenny: This is crazy!! I lived in the Victorian house on Walnut Street when I was young. I played at Boones Park, my friends and I saw the headstones!! It just blew my mind to hear this.. I would love to hear more about Blairsville haunted places..

My son lives in Blairsville in an old house on Stewert St. He says he hears strange noises at night, door knobs turning etc. The house was built sometime in the 1800's and was rumored to be a ''house of pleasure'' way back when.
