I have worked at the Coatesville steel mill numerous times through my company as an outside millwright. During a big summer shutdown two years ago I was working the night turn as millwright support. One night four of us went to the maintenance building to drop off a few spent rolls and get the new ones to install and I saw a man standing in the distance watching us in the building he then began to walk behind some machinery and he was gone!

I'm the only one who saw him and I looked around the machinery and there was nobody there; no sound no footsteps it was impossible to disappear like that.

knew then what I had just seen a full bodied apparition. There was not a single person in that building that night but the four of us...

I have worked at the Steel Mill for almost 30 years. Currently working in the lab at night. I constantly see things out of the corner of my eyes. To the point I must tell them to leave me be and stop watching me work. I have seen on more than one occasion a man in a white lab coat with a clipboard walk by me as close as 10 ft away. When I stopped to see who this was and why they were there, I can't find anyone. I recently mentioned to a coworker that the lab is haunted and strange things happen at night. They immediately said '' yea, I know. I have seen a guy in a white lab coat walking through.'' This really stunned me that others have seen the same thing. Also the nearest other building is the old open hearth where there were many horrible deaths. I know many of people that died there are still lost.
