My mother and I purchased a Cokeburg duplex together. One night I woke up about 3am in my bed, and tried to sit up to go to the bathroom. I couldn't sit up, something had my shoulders pinned down to the mattress. I struggled for about thirty seconds and then was freed. It was strange, because I was fully awake, but not scared. I tried to scream, but nothing came out of my mouth.
I told my mother at breakfast, and she started to laugh. I said, why are you laughing? And she told me that about two weeks prior, while I was at work, she napped on the couch in the middle of the afternoon, and experienced the very same thing. She was held down by the shoulders for about thirty seconds, was fully awake, but couldn't scream. We have seen flashes of light dart through our living room while we were in the kitchen, and our dog is afraid to go out on our enclosed front porch by herself. Our house is over one hundred years old.

I was in my house in Cokeburg and I was getting ready to leave. I got in my sisters car and then she told me to go get her sunglasses. They were in her room I went to go get them to go to pinecove for baseball.
There was no one in my house but then all of a sudden my sisters door opened and the door knob turned and something black came moving across my hall way to my brothers room. Then the power went out then I heard my cell pone ring and it was house phone and no one in my family was there.
I was so scared. Then my window opened and there was a knock on my door.
