house when there was 3 feet of snow on the ground seeing people walk by the second story windows in old fashioned suits at the old mayors house that's now being redone, and seeing people walking behind the movie theatre then disappearing after I followed them around the corner.
I loved Coudersport and wish I still lived there even with all the strange stuff.

The Old Hickory use to be a hang out for Eliot ness. The Old Hickory had a bar that Mr. Ness went to on occasion. It's funny our store bosela's gifts and collectibles at 14 E. 2nd St. Was once mackey's resturaunt where Eliot Ness co-wrote his autobiograqphy the untouchables.

During the 1950's legendary Eliot Ness chief investigator of the prohibition bureau for Chicago with the united states treasury department co-wrote his autobiography the untouchables, while drinking coffee at the northeast corner of our store.
In additiona while camping in the Coudersport area Hollywood superstar Joan Crawford left an autograph for the previous proprietor mackey's restaurant currently displayed on the east wall. Coudersport has some legendary history.
