I used to live in Du Bois. The house I lived in was haunted. At night you would hear knocking and scratching. In the kitchen the lights would turn on and off by themselves. One bedroom had a walk in closet, and the door would open by itself all the time. One night my brother swore he got punched in his face while sleeping, but nobody was home but him. You could hear a man's voice muffled upstairs. The house makes you not want to be there alone.

I was driving into Dubois from exit 97 when I saw something very strange. I drove past a few gas stations and businesses about a 1 / 4 of miles from the Walmart. Suddenly I saw a thin man wearing a red long sleeve shirt buttoned at the neck wearing white or beige pants step off the curb directly into the right front side of my truck.
I was driving about 15miles an hour, and there was no impact or noise. As soon as I saw it and there should have been contact, it was gone, and I was past the stop.
