I am now 49 years old. When I was 12 my brother and sister-in-law didn't have any children yet, so they asked me to stay over nearly every weekend. Her sister had children my age, and we all used to go do outings together. My sister-in-law wanted children more than anything, but they we were having difficulty conceiving. They are about thirteen years older than me, so I became their weekend kid.

been occupied by generations of her family members. The first time that I stayed at their house I slept in the ''blue room''. It was a spare bedroom with

white walls, a blue rug, and blue bed spread. No one ever mentioned to me that weird things happened at their house, or I wouldn't have stayed. The moment that I entered the blue room I felt like someone was watching me. I was so disturbed by this that I would always sleep with the bedside lamp on all night.
I never witnessed anything myself, but I always had this strange feeling that someone was watching me while in the blue room. I mentioned this feeling to
