Another fun fact she told us was that after the first day of the battle Confederate soldiers who had died in the fighting where laid out in the basement, one of these bodies had once occupied the space I was now sitting in.
Yikes! Although I did not experience anything of the paranormal sort several other people in my group did. One girl claimed she felt a pressure on her knee and one of the parents who had come along felt like someone was tapping

their fingers along her shoulders.

In September of 2012 some friends and I (we are / were students at Gettysburg College) took the ''mature'' tour through the Farnsworth house. The guides took us to the bottom of cemetery hill and into the woods.
In these woods a little girl named Elizabeth is said to lurk. She died during the war and wants to hurt anyone, preferably teenage girls who are living the happy life she never had. They of course told us stories of sightings and just how angry Elizabeth truly was.
They told us of how they've had to carry people out of the woods because she has thrown them to the ground / hurt them. I do believe in the paranormal so I was open to whatever was going to happen that night.
