I see lots of ghostly apparitions at night in this town. One time I was walking into my yard, and there was an old miner sitting under a tree. I thought it was a real person, so I ran at him to grab and question, but halfway to him he vanished. Poof! I also had this happen to me in my house. I saw a man sitting Indian style on my floor in the other room. and when I ran towards him he just vanished.

Moved to Girardville 4 years ago. This place is haunted, more and more keep coming. I sleep with lights on and keep my ears covered (they scare me when whispering in my ears. ) Keep your hands under blankets here, or you get something ice cold and slimy put in them. My cats play with them every day and every night. They move things. They smack me, and they just appear in front of me. They also scream and throw things around. I have gotten so used to them that I just roll over and go back to sleep. .
