Big bridges are always popular local suicide spots and Homestead Grays Bridge is of course no exception. I don't know how many people have jumped off that bridge but I'm sure it's quite a few. The bridge has at least one haunting of a suicide jumper that I know of. The reason I know about this one is that I have seen it myself. I was parked under the bridge and took a moment to admire the great bridge. As I was looking at the bridge I saw a person

Comment by Lori: I want to comment on that. When I was a young girl my friends and I used to go down to play and go for walks down under that bridge. There used to be a meat packing house and a few other business located near underneath the bridge. One day I was leaving that river underneath that bridge. I saw a person jumping off the bridge and plunging into the river. I ran screaming for help. I had to show the police where about they landed. I remember my step-dad walking me back to the house telling me that they retrieved a pretty young female that jumped off the bridge with a large fish hook.
