I work on the Railroad that goes through Mount Holly Springs. I've had a few engineers tell me that it's haunted and that they've seen things in the small yard there in the swamps. I personally haven't but it's a very foreboding place.
It feels off even during the day and it's worse at night. I worked there once at night and I found myself looking over my shoulder nervously many times because I kept feeling like something was going to happen or I was

going to see something.
The whole area from the main line tracks up to the mountain just feels... Eerie.

One night at work at the local paper mill I was blowing out the bubble tube. Once I was done I went upstairs. After about two hours I noticed my #4 dump chest chart was going absolutely crazy. I went back downstairs to check the bubble tube again and to my amazement the plug was gone and was setting over by #5 dump chest.
I to this day still cannot explain how it happened. Creepy....

Driving home one night a young boy wearing a grey hoodie ran in front of my car a little up ahead. I slowed down and flashed my lights at him. He turned and looked at me... He had no face just darkness under his hood. He turned into white grey smoke and drifted away. This was by the 34/94 split.
