it was, they are acting weird because there is absolutely nothing to do in the space between my room door and the front door. Then it dawned on me that

that was absolutely a ghost!
I sat with my eyes peeled on the hall light that poured in from underneath my room door, hoping that I would finally hear footsteps going up the stairs, which will confirm that someone was standing there or perhaps eavesdropping. After about fifteen minutes I didn't hear anything. Another few minutes went past, and I still didn't hear a anything. I considered that maybe it was a mouse, but the gap underneath the door
