Everyone on the block believes the big white house on the corner is really haunted. People say there has been salt and pepper shakers thrown at them and broken plates on the floor. There will be lights on if no one is home and most importantly you will see a woman painting the wall in the front room when there is no one home.

Me and a few friends were partying up a the mountains off Burnside one night in the summer a number of years back. When the area around us went deathly silent. All insects and night time pests went silent.
Further up the hill we heard something large and bipedal moving through the woods towards us, stopping just outside the fire's glow. We could tell something was watching us, we threw on the rest of the wood we gathered to increase the fire. And as it burned brighter this... whatever, backed away.
