So one day early in the morning we were driving down Dutch Lane going towards Farrell. We were just starting to go past the grave yard and we saw something run right in front of our car very fast. It was so fast you couldn't tell for sure what it was but it was in a hurry to get back to the grave yard I guess and it was not a person at all. I know what I saw and that was not human!!!.

One day my girlfriend and I were driving through Transfer. We were heading west on Edgewood, toward the left bend, and we were both somewhat turned around as I was showing her the Harvest Home Fairgrounds on the right side. Out of the corner of my eye, I swear I saw what appeared to be a 4-6 year old little girl in a very old style dress running toward the front right corner of the car. I looked real quick, and she wasn't there. There turned out to be no little girl, (luckily) and my girlfriend saw nothing at all. It was really creepy.

Also, when my mom and her siblings were growing up in Transfer in the early 70s, she told me of a time when she was very little, and my grandparents were looking to rent the big old house on the right as you're heading East, at the bottom of the hill on Rutledge Road. It's the one that looks like it has that round tower part in the front corner of the house. She and one of her brothers were very little and sitting in the car in the driveway as my grandparents talked to the owner. From the car they saw two rocking chairs in the tower that were rocking steadily with nobody up there. I'm not normally one to post this sort of stuff, but I was freaked out today and wanted to see if anyone else had noticed either of the same things.
