and said there was nobody, and my aunt assumed it was probably my dad trying to mess with her, so she continued reading, but that was when she heard someone in her kitchen. They heard the fridge open, so again she had my cousin check, but still nobody was there.

Three years ago my family and I bought our new house in Union City, PA. Now let me say this, I've always believed in ghosts and found that whole idea very interesting. Anyway, the summer after we bought and moved into our house it was around 3 am, which many say this is the dead hour. My little brother was around 3 almost 4 at the time. I was the only one awake. Then I heard him talking to someone, which concerned me, so I went and asked him. He ended up saying he was talking to a little blond boy. I didn't think too much of it. I mean little kids have imaginary friends right? I told my mom about it the next day, and she thought it was a little weird. From this point on I believe I became a little cautious of what would be going on around me.

I think I did have a sense that it was a ghost living in our house. Like I'd hear scratching on my closet wall, or my door would open and shut by itself. All of these things kind of fit the description of what my brother said, it was a little boy, and he was playful apparently. I started to research. Kids and animals are more prone to seeing and talking to ghosts. Well after I read this later on in the summer it was my parents' wedding anniversary, so they went out, and my grandparents watched me and my sister. (My 2 brothers were spending the night somewhere. ) It was around 10 or 11. My sister was sleeping, and it was just me and my grandma up. She went to go let the dog out. The dog went towards the back door. Then she like yelped and started barking and ran towards me. She wouldn't go back that way.

Lastly the school year after the summer some lady who used to live in our house came and talked to my dad. She asked if he had had any ''experiences. '' My dad jokingly mentioned the boy (which my brother said his name was Carter,) My dad said ''oh, we met Carter,'' which the lady said ''oh, the little blond boy?'' Kind of confirming in a way. There's so much more than this, but this is some of the biggest encounters and weird stories about it.

There's an antique machine gun on display in the little park by French Creek on High Street. These types of weapons very often have spirits attached to them if they have been used in battle and the operator of the weapon was killed.
