I live in Venango Township and wanted to just add a bit of information to what is already here. The old hotel which is now Double D's across the street from French Creek is definitely haunted. I have been inside the bar many times after hours and have stayed in the bedrooms upstairs. I have gone to the bathroom and had the lights shut off. I don't mean a breaker blew. I mean the switch literally went from up and on to down and off complete with clicking

sound.
I was there around 8 am getting the bar area ready for a party. I heard the door shut and felt wind when no windows fans or other sources

of wind were there. Minutes later the piano (which was in the attic and blocked from access) began playing. Really low keys for long periods. I know the owner also heard it. Things get moved around right after you set them down. The weird noises and thuds that just have no explanation. It's a good thing they serve alcohol as you will need a shot if you decide to investigate. It's easy to rationalize someone else's experience, so I challenge any skeptics
