My children and I were at Warwick Community Park on a quiet sunny day. The parking lot had three cars in it including ours. As we approached our car to leave, my two and a half-year-old daughter pointed at the wide open parking lot and said ''mommy don't go! Monster.'' At first I thought she was being silly, so I continued to walk. She tried to pull me back and started screaming in terror. There was absolutely nothing visible to me. I couldn't figure

out what was scaring her. I said ''there's nothing to be afraid of.'' She became hysterical and said ''mommy! No! No walk mommy.''
Then she buried

her head in my chest and screamed. My six-year-old and I agree that she definitely saw something. She has never talked about monsters or claimed to see monsters before. She is very articulate for her age and not the type of kid to make up a story like that. My son and I couldn't see anything that she could have mistaken for a monster, so we are left believing she saw something we couldn't see. Submitted by Beth
