In the 1980s my husband and I were coming home from a wedding reception approximately 2:00 a.m. on River Road before Washington crossing a red-haired young lady flagged us down and asked for a ride home as her car was in the ditch. We drove her to the house which was right next door to the blue Ram. We watched her go in the house. We started to pull out of the driveway, but my husband realized she didn't have her purse, and the car could have possibly been on fire, etc, so we pulled back up, and he knocked on the door. After what seemed like 15 minutes a man answered the door. He was very upset to be awakened in the middle of the night and was even angrier that my husband insisted someone opened the door and walked inside since he had no daughter.

It was 7:20 am in 2009 when I was stopped at the light at the crossing Jersey side facing the bridge. I momentarily closed my eyes, and I had the feeling that someone was next to my car. When I opened my eyes and glanced out the window there was a young boy with white shirt, white pants, and a blue hat revolutionary soldier style. When I blinked and looked again he was gone. Never had the experience before or after, but it was nice to have happened.
