If you drive down east princess Street in York Pa it looks like a normal neighborhood anywhere. It has changed since I grew up there only slightly with a few new houses built on what used to be an empty lot and furniture store and the house I grew up in was torn down and another built there.
I guess I was in grade 6 and had caught mono. I was really sick my liver and spleen were swollen and I was on bed rest. I had a fever. I wassleeping when I heard someone talking to me. I woke up to see a priest giving me my last rites.

(I am not Catholic) when I told my mom she brushed it off and said no one was there. Fast forward a few months. We were digging in our yard to set up a pool and found some charred remains of a cat and wood.

My mom headed to the neighbors house to ask what could have happened. It turns out that many years before my mom moved into the house there had been another home in the same place. It had belonged to St.
Joe's up the street and the priests had lived in it. There had been a fire and the entire house burnt to the ground there were two victims a cat had never been recovered a one of the priests had died of smoike inhalation at the hospital.
He may have died but he eventually had come home/.
